Friends of Pontoosuc is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and health of Pontoosuc Lake.
We welcome everyone to Pontoosuc Lake, a wonderful community asset that needs to be protected, respected, and enjoyed by all. Our mission is to safeguard water quality, protect lake wildlife, and promote boating safety through active conservation, education, and public communication.
Currently, the lake faces several challenges, including invasive weeds, fluctuating fish populations, climate change, water levels, and securing local conservation and government board approvals. Our lake needs our collective attention.
Friends of Pontoosuc aims to bring the community together. Our goal is to collaborate to keep Pontoosuc Lake healthy so the next generation can continue to enjoy its beauty and recreational activities.

The Friends of Pontoosuc have teamed up with local Pittsfield business 413Shirts.com and their fundraising platform to be able to offer these items with no upfront cost and a portion of each sale going to help the mission of the group.
These super super soft Tri-blend Unisex/Men's t-shirts from District are crafted from a ring spun cotton/poly blend for ultimate comfort. These shirts fit true to size and have some shape they are not a "Boxy" tee. These are preshrunk but everything tightens a little if dried on high. You should generally just order your normal t-shirt size but if you are super on the fence go up a size not down a size.
